Located in urban areas that have been under served with services and are considered less than desirable; the themed concept of the Up On Your Villages to transition homeless and disabled veterans for civilian re-integration is designed to  positively influence the surrounding area through standardization of housing and introduction of new businesses thus establishing a trend of revitalization that will ultimately cause a positive transition from blight

Needs: Undeveloped land or tracts of land with existing housing to:

• Renovate/Rebuild/Re-Use
  LEED® Sustainable Practices/Approach.
  

• Themed Village utilizing Master overlay for building style and landscape.
  

• Provide access to counseling, and training in a localized space convenient and accessible to our veteran population.

The Up On Your Luck Village will integrate commercial a business/technology incubator into a live, work, play, community designed to help veterans establish marketable skillsets to re-enter the job market and/or create viable businesses. Our focus is on the successful ownership/operation of a village grocer, cleaners, coffee shop, art gallery, owned and operation by veterans to address their long term financial success. 

To this end, our organization is actively seeking partnerships with local businesses and foundations for funding, sponsorship, job placement, mentoring, training and apprenticeships, as well as, local municipalities and/or federal government for grants and endowments that support the growth and development of this leading edge transitional program to support our veterans.
